Surface Preparation

For the best adhesion and durability:

• Clean all surfaces thoroughly.

• Lightly scuff glossy finishes using 220-grit sandpaper or a sanding pad.

• Remove existing wax with mineral spirits before painting.

Kitchen Cabinet Preparation

For cabinetry, complete the preparation steps above, then wipe surfaces with denatured alcohol to eliminate grease, oils, and cooking residue before painting.

Application

• Apply with a quality brush, roller, or paint sprayer.

• Two coats are recommended for optimal coverage and durability.

Dry Time

Dry times are based on ideal conditions of 70°F (21°C) with 70% humidity.

• Dry to Touch: 30–45 minutes

• Recoat: After 2 hours

• Light Use: 7–10 days

• Full Cure: 21 days

Lower temperatures or higher humidity may increase drying times, with recoating taking up to 8–10 hours.

Clean-Up

Clean brushes, rollers, and tools with warm, soapy water immediately after use.

Approximate Coverage

Coverage is based on a dry film thickness of approximately 0.70 mils.

• 1 oz (30 ml): approximately 5 sq. ft.

• 2 oz (59 ml): approximately 10 sq. ft.

• 4 oz (118 ml): approximately 20 sq. ft.

• 8 oz (237 ml): approximately 40 sq. ft.

• 16 oz (473 ml): approximately 75 sq. ft.
